Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 10, 2026

This policy explains how GeoSpy Tech handles information when you browse the site or request an AI-generated location estimate. The policy is maintained in English so that the same disclosure applies across every localized version of the service.

Who operates this website

GeoSpy Tech is an independently operated online service available at geospy.tech. GeoSpy Tech is an independent image-location estimation service and is not affiliated with GeoSpy.ai, Raven, or Graylark Technologies.

Privacy questions and rights requests can be sent to privacy@geospy.tech.

Information we process

  • Images you choose to upload, including the visual content contained in those images.
  • AI-generated location estimates, coordinates, confidence indicators, and explanations returned for the image.
  • Technical request information such as IP address, browser type, timestamps, request identifiers, and security logs that may be processed by our hosting and AI providers.
  • Cookie and consent preferences stored in your browser, plus analytics or advertising data only when the relevant technology is enabled and consent or another lawful basis is available.

How image analysis works

Before transmission, the browser may resize and convert an uploaded image. The image is then sent directly from your browser to our contracted AI processing endpoint at api.videomaker.cool to perform the requested location analysis. This provider receives the image and the technical information needed to process and secure the request.
GeoSpy Tech does not intentionally add uploaded images to a public gallery or use them to identify a person. Do not upload sensitive images, images of private individuals without permission, identity documents, or content you do not have the right to analyze.

Purposes and legal bases

  • Provide the image-location estimation feature you request.
  • Protect the service, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and maintain reliability.
  • Comply with legal obligations and respond to valid legal requests.
  • Measure site usage or serve advertising when those features are enabled and the required consent or other lawful basis has been obtained.

Storage and retention

The current GeoSpy Tech web application does not intentionally write uploaded images or analysis results to its own user database. A preview and result may remain temporarily in your browser until you reset the tool, navigate away, or close the page.
Our hosting, security, and AI processing providers may temporarily retain request data or logs under their own operational and legal requirements. Retention can vary by provider and request type. We seek to limit processing to what is necessary and do not promise zero retention where a third-party processor controls infrastructure logs.

Cookies, Google AdSense, and advertising

If advertising is enabled, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this or other websites. Google's advertising cookies allow Google and its partners to personalize ads where permitted. Users can manage or opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings.

Third parties may place or read cookies in your browser, or use web beacons, IP addresses, and similar identifiers as a result of ad serving. Learn more about how Google uses data on partner sites. Where required, advertising technology will be controlled through a Google-certified consent management platform.

Service providers and international transfers

We use service providers for website hosting, content delivery, security, content management, and AI processing. These providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where applicable, we rely on provider agreements and legally recognized transfer safeguards.

Your choices and rights

  • Reject optional cookies using the on-screen privacy controls, adjust available preferences from the footer, or use your browser settings.
  • Avoid uploading an image or stop an analysis before submission.
  • Request information, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection where applicable law provides those rights.
  • Contact the relevant data protection authority if you believe your rights have not been respected.

Children

The service is not directed to children under 13, or a higher minimum age where local law requires it. Children should not upload images without the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian.

Security and policy changes

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information, but no internet transmission or third-party service can be guaranteed completely secure.
We may update this policy when our processing practices, providers, or legal obligations change. The date at the top of this page identifies the current version.
